Gardens

Summer Jo’s gardens contain many varieties of herbs flowers. We grow them for use in our restaurant and for sale, and in the case of the flowers just because we think that beauty is a necessity.

The Herb Garden contains both medicinal and culinary herbs. Labeling them all is on our project list, but until everything is labeled, you can always ask Nancy or any of the farm staff what a plant is.

Our Rose Garden and Rose Arbor provide flowers to adorn the restaurant, as does the Cut-Flower Garden. We do grow flowers for sale at market, and we particularly like incorporating edible blossoms into the dishes we serve in the restaurant.

The Children’s Garden is another project in the works, but feel free to explore its kid-friendly features at any time.
